Rodenbach - 2010 Vintage

From Joe Drinks Dinner and Stuff

A sour (and expensive) ale!

Tart and cherry and vinegar. I haven't had the original in a while, and while this is nice, it probably wasn't worth the exorbitant cost.

Goose Island - Madame Rose

From Joe Drinks Dinner and Stuff

Not sure what I was expecting when I bought it, but I didn't put together the pieces to think it was supposed to be an Oud Bruin.

It's an enjoyable enough brew. Slightly tart and moderate acidity. Its fine. If you want something along the same style though, I'd spend $10 less and just get a Rodenbach.

Ommegang Zuur

DSC03504

This was pretty good. Not too sour or tart.

Split the bottle with Jeffrey.
