Heavy Seas - Davy Jones Lager (Imperial Cream Ale)

I have a hard time understanding how something can be both a lager and an ale at the same time. Something to do with using ale yeast but at low temperatures.
This was really mediocre. Would not recommend or buy again.

Anderson Valley Summer Solstice
Surprisingly tastes a lot like the Winter Solstice beer, just less "spicy". Really nice malt flavor. I'm sad that I never tried it before this summer because I love Winter Solstice. I went out a bought a six pack after having this on draft which is saying a lot for me.
