The beer is only just okay. Nice enough example of the style, but I like Celebrator a lot better.

A good brew. Some dark fruit flavors (raisins, etc.). Pretty thin though, with the alcohol fairly hidden. I could drink a lot of this.

Ayinger - Celebrator Doppelbock

This is pretty tasty. Bready, caramely and lots of dark fruit. I'd buy it again.

Duck Rabbit - Duck Rabbator

Oooo. This is tasty. More of a roasted malt taste than just over poweringly sweet & bready. I would definitely buy again.

He'brew Rejewvenator (Year of the Grape) (2010)

The label says this a cross between a dopplebock and a dubbel, but brewed with some grapes.

Its really sweet. Like, super sweet. It reminds me more a dubbel than a dopplebock. I'd skip it if I saw it again.

Troegs Troegenator Doublebock

Not overly sweet or malty. Not sure I could drink multiples in a night but I enjoyed it a lot more than the Bell's Dopplebock.

Bell's Consecrator Doppelbock

I can't believe this is the first Bell's beer I've written about here.

A nice roasted malt taste. Its pretty sweet. Its fairly heavy, which for me is saying something. Not terribly interesting. Doppelbocks probably aren't my things.
